Dr. Lindberg’s Products AS focuses on licensing and marketing functional low glycemic, perfectly balanced foods, partly by developing own products under
the "Fedon" brand, but also by identifying external high quality suppliers. The main market is Norway and Scandinavia.
The company has already developed several products in the cereal segment and low glycemic frozen meals, snacks, ice cream
varieties as well as precooked legumes. From its launch in 2003 to date Dr. Lindbergs bread has stabilized its position as
Norway’s most selling branded bread. All products are tested and certified for their glycemic impact (glycemic index/load),
distributed throughout a comprehensive solution in Norway, covering the Grocery, Health Food and Pharmacy sector.
In 2005 Dr. Lindbergs Products AS entered an agreement with Umoe Catering AS, the largest restaurant and fast food company in Norway, which operates among others Burger King. The first result of this cooperation was the development and launch of the world’s first low glycemic hamburger by Burger King "Fedon King". In 2006 were launched another variety of burger; "Fedon Chicken". These products, with substantial added health benefits, have a significant success in Norway.
